Adobe Camera Raw Plugin Mac Download
Camera Raw 9.4 is now available through the update mechanism in Photoshop CC and the Creative Cloud application. As mentioned in an update to our camera support policy here, Camera Raw 9.4 is only available in Photoshop CC or later.Customers using older versions of Photoshop can utilize the DNG Converter for continued camera support. The following is a workaround to update Camera Raw within Elements. It is recommended to wait for Camera Raw updates within the product for issue fixes. If you haven't been able to update the Camera Raw plug-in for Elements, follow these steps: Download and install the latest Camera Raw version.

If you haven't been able to update the Camera Raw plug-in for Elements, follow these steps:
Download and install the latest Camera Raw version from Camera Raw plug-in installer.
- On macOS, double-click the .dmg file to mount it.
- On Windows double-click the downloaded .zip file to unzip it. (Windows might unzip the file for you.)
- On macOS, double-click the .pkg file to start the installer.
- On Windows, double-click the resulting .exe file to start the installer.
Once installed successfully, close the installer window.
Navigate to the following folder:
- On macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-ins/CC/File Formats
- On Windows: C:Program FilesCommon FilesAdobePlug-InsCCFile Formats
Copy the Camera Raw plug-in from the CC > File Formats folder that is mentioned in the above step.
Navigate to the following folder:
- On macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-ins/Elements<Version Number>/File Formats
- On Windows: C:Program FilesCommon FilesAdobePlug-InsElements<Version Number>File Formats
Replace the existing Camera Raw plugin in Elements<Version Number> folder with the plug-in that you copied in step 8.

Adobe Camera Raw Latest Version
Note 1: For any version of Adobe Premiere Elements, you can import supported digital camera raw images but you cannot access the Camera Raw dialog box.
Note 2: After Effects 7 includes version 3.2.0.1 of the Camera Raw plug-in, which was designed solely for use with After Effects 7. You cannot update the Camera Raw plug-in for After Effects 7.
Note 3: When you install Adobe Bridge CS3 as part of Photoshop Elements 6 on Mac OS, Adobe Bridge supports Camera Raw through version 5.5. For more information, see Use Camera Raw 5.x with Photoshop Elements 6 when you also have Photoshop CS3 installed (Mac OS).
Note 4: If you are using Mac OS 10.3.x, then Camera Raw 4.1 is the latest version that you can install for Photoshop Elements 4.0.1. For more information, see Error 'not enough memory' when you open a camera raw file in Photoshop Elements 4.0.1 (Mac OS 10.3).
Note 5: If you are using Mac OS 10.6, Windows XP, or Windows Vista, Adobe Camera Raw 8.4 and later is not compatible. You can use up to Camera Raw 8.3.
